Riz au boeuf et légumes (RBL) – Beef and vegetable Rice

On achète

6 tranches de bacon

1 lb de boeuf haché

1 tasse de macédoine surgelée

3 tomates

 

On a

1 oignon aché

1/2 tasse de riz

1 1/2 tasse de bouillon de poulet

sel et poivre au goût

On fait

Cuire le bacon et l’oignon. Ajouter le boeuf haché et la macédoine jusqu’à ce que la viande ait bruni.

Incorporer les tomates coupées en dés, le riz et le bouillon.

Couvrir et laisser mijoter jusqu’à ce que le riz soit cuit.

* On peut remplacer la macédoine surgelée par des légumes frais hachés qu’on a sous la main.

1 lb. ground beef

1 cup frozen mixed vegetables

3 tomatoes

1 onion, chopped

1 / 2 cup rice

1 1 / 2 cup chicken broth

salt and pepper to taste

we cook!

Cook bacon and onion. Add ground beef and mixed vegetables until meat is browned.

Stir diced tomatoes, rice and broth.

Cover and simmer until the rice is cooked.

* You can substitute frozen mixed vegetables with fresh chopped vegetables you have home.
